Ever wondered if your relationship is just like anyone else’s? If other couples have those embarrassing moments out in public, when your other half does something totally humiliating, that you wonder ‘why did I bring him out in public?’….Well you are not alone!
When Simon decides to ‘just be himself’ in public, we normally get funny looks, uncomfortable glares or dumbfound, speechless reactions, but I have the perfect comeback ‘Don’t worry he is special and the day pass ends at 6pm before he returns to the padded cell’….now most people burst out laughing and play along or I get that look of ‘oh you poor thing for having to live with that’. The question is though, who is that directed at:-)
We all have our own little quirks or things that have to be done a certain way and it’s not until you live with someone that you notice this. I know there are things that I do that get on Simon’s goat or vice versa but the joy of it all is we learn to adapt and sometimes it has its benefits, as an example I do not wash the dishes if Simon is home – bonus I say!
